On October 12, 2017, the LAA participated in "The Great Pumpkin ASK (Artist's Supporting Kids). Pumpkin Proceeds will go to fund children's art programs of the Lapeer Art Association. Here are some of the works of art that were donated by artists in Lapeer!
In September 2017, the LAA participated in the "Art In The Rough" event with our Imlay City neighbors! What a great time was had by this group of artists and all the people who worked so hard to make it happen. This is an annual event you don't want to miss!!!!

Gallery 194 took on a festive air as the LAA celebrated the opening of their Spring Show with an evening Artist Reception on Saturday April 30, 2016. The Best in Show Prize was awarded to Harry Villalonga for his painting "River of Life". He is seen here with Caren Huizenga whose watercolor "Soft Pink Hibiscus" won a Juror Award. Below we have artist Joyce Stryker, whose porcelain vase "Holly Hock Garden" won a juror award. Seated enjoying the evening celebrations with her son, is Jacquie Piechowski who also won a Juror Award for her painting "Magenta Sunrise". Reception at the LAA Winter Show 2015
A great evening was had by artists and patrons at our annual winter show Artist Reception. Lots of original art to view, tasty snacks to nibble and good conversation. Sales were made and most importantly new friends were made in the local community.
